A festival in the heart of the Ardèche nature

The La Pleine Lune Festival is a summer music event held annually around Payzac, in the south of Ardèche. Created by the association L'Art Scène, this unique festival takes over exceptional natural sites—clearings, valleys, and mountains—to offer open-air concerts in an enchanting setting. La Pleine Lune stands out with its original format, structured in two main events: the Quartiers de Lune and the final weekend.

The Quartiers de Lune: itinerant concerts

During the first fortnight of July, the Quartiers de Lune offer a series of decentralized concerts in the towns and hamlets of southern Ardèche. These evenings feature national and international artists in unusual locations: village squares, vineyards, preserved natural sites. This itinerant format creates a strong link between music and the territory, inviting festival-goers to explore the rich landscapes and heritage of southern Ardèche.

The final weekend: dub, reggae, and electro

The festival's highlight is the grand weekend, which brings together several thousand festival-goers for open-air stages in Payzac and its surroundings. The program features world music, dub, reggae, and electro, with themed evenings like the legendary 100% Dub International night that has built the festival's reputation. Sound systems and DJ sets mingle with live concerts, creating a unique atmosphere between a music festival and a controlled free party.

An alternative and friendly spirit

La Pleine Lune cultivates an alternative spirit, prioritizing friendliness, environmental respect, and accessibility. The festival offers on-site camping, local and artisanal food and drink, as well as relaxation areas in the heart of nature. This event has built a loyal following of passionate attendees, attached to the special atmosphere of these Ardèche musical nights under the stars, where music resonates through the Vivarais hills.

Strong territorial roots

Beyond its musical dimension, the La Pleine Lune Festival contributes to the cultural vibrancy of the rural territory of southern Ardèche. By taking over unusual venues and involving the surrounding communities, it participates in the region's tourism appeal while supporting local associative and cultural life. Over the years, the festival has become a must-attend event for contemporary music lovers in Ardèche.
