A festival with big ambitions from Ribes
Les Euphoribes is a music and nature festival rooted in the village of Ribes, a commune in Ardèche cévenole located in the Beaume-Drobie valley. Driven by the association Les Arts des Choix, created in April 2024, this cultural project champions an alternative festival model: gentler, slower, more human. The organizers believe in ecology without posturing, transmission without hierarchy, and culture without pretense.
The zero edition: a successful debut
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the day of the Fête de la musique, Les Euphoribes launched their zero edition in Ribes. For this first event, the festival offered an alchemy of music, nature walks, creative workshops, and many original events. With nearly 600 participants, this test edition demonstrated the robustness of the organization, the clarity of the project's values, and the fertile ground on which it is being established.
Music, nature, and encounters
The Euphoribes program combines concerts, guided hikes in the Cévennes landscapes, participatory workshops, and convivial moments. The festival highlights the exceptional natural heritage of Ribes, a village of terraces typical of the Ardèche Cévennes, while offering eclectic musical discoveries. The spirit of the festival favors encounters between artists, locals, and visitors, in an intimate and preserved setting.
A project under construction for the future
Starting in October 2025, regular events will punctuate the seasons: concerts, meetings, walks, and other surprises, awaiting the first official edition of the festival in 2026. Les Euphoribes also plans to create alliances and bridges between the communes in the Beaume-Drobie territory, seeking partnerships with neighboring municipalities, regional institutions, and local producers.
Euphoribes — edition 2026
First official edition of Les Euphoribes in Ribes, in Ardèche cévenole, on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20, 2026. After the success of the zero edition in June 2025, the "well-being" festival returns with an expanded program combining concerts, nature walks, wellness workshops, and local catering, around the village's multi-purpose hall.
A first official edition after the success of the zero edition
Carried by the association Les Arts des Choix, created in April 2024 by a collective of Ardèche volunteers, the first true edition of Les Euphoribes takes place in Ribes on June 19 and 20, 2026. The zero edition, organized on June 21, 2025, as part of the Fête de la Musique, had laid the groundwork for a human-scale event, rooted in the Beaume-Drobie territory.
Festival spirit: "well-being"
Les Euphoribes define themselves as a well-being festival. The program invites rethinking the meaning of common and collective, in a spirit of conviviality around nature, culture, celebration, and sharing. Ecology without pretense, transmission without hierarchy, culture without costume: this is the line claimed by the organizing team.
Two days of festivities in Ribes
Friday, June 19 (7 PM-11 PM) opens the festival with a launch evening (conference and bar). The day of Saturday, June 20 starts at 10 AM and continues late into the night, with four evening concerts, a jam session, a closing DJ set, guided nature walks, children's activities, wellness stands, a gratiféria, and a shared meal (grilled pork by reservation).
A project rooted in the Beaume-Drobie
From this 2026 edition, Les Euphoribes envision alliances and bridges with neighboring communes in the Beaume-Drobie valley, as well as with regional producers and departmental institutions. Ultimately, the association hopes to organize the festival once or twice a year, in spring and autumn.
