A festival born from Ardèche passion

The Festival Fatche! was born in August 2017, founded by five passionate members quickly joined by numerous local volunteers. Supported by the association Des Nuées d'Arts, the festival settled in Payzac, a commune in southern Ardèche located in the Pays des Vans, to offer a musical and cultural event rooted in the territory, 100% Ardèche and 100% family-friendly.

Music, shows, and artistic discovery

The programming of Festival Fatche! mixed concerts, live performances, and activities in a spirit of discovery and openness. The festival distinguished itself by its commitment to defending another culture, by offering significant exposure to emerging and developing artists, far from traditional commercial circuits. Musical styles were varied, with a preference for contemporary music, folk, rock, and world music.

A strong eco-responsible commitment

Festival Fatche! was a resolutely eco-responsible event. The organization favored short supply chains for catering and supplies, limiting the event's ecological footprint. The choice of natural sites for concerts — the green theater of the former site of La Pleine Lune and then the natural area of the Church — reflected this desire to engage in an environmentally friendly approach, while offering the public an exceptional natural setting to enjoy the shows.

A festival open to all

True to its values, Festival Fatche! practiced accessible prices and aimed to be open to all audiences, from families to music lovers. Activities for children and participatory workshops complemented the musical program, making the festival an intergenerational event. The friendly and warm atmosphere, fueled by the energy of the volunteers, was one of the hallmarks of the event.

A human adventure that comes to an end

After eight years of existence and six editions, the founders and volunteers of Festival Fatche! made the collective decision to end the adventure. The last edition was held in August 2024 at the natural area of the Church in Payzac, closing a chapter rich in emotions, encounters, and musical discoveries. The festival leaves a legacy of conviviality and cultural commitment in the Ardèche region of Pays des Vans.
