Les Délices Perchés: Shows and Flavors in Notre-Dame-de-Mésage

The Les Délices Perchés Festival is a festival of shows, music, and cuisine that takes place every June in Notre-Dame-de-Mésage, a small perched village in Isère located between Grenoble and Vizille, above the Romanche valley. Created by a group of friends eager to bring their village back to life, this festival has become, in a few editions, a must-attend event of the Isère summer.

A Rich and Eclectic Program

The Les Délices Perchés program is resolutely eclectic and family-friendly. Each edition offers a wealth of outdoor performances: 3D street cinema without glasses, accordions on asphalt, acrobatic lifts, swing solos, caustic clowns, love songs in a jukebox, musical parades, shadow and light shows, magic and mentalism, bubble fishing, balloon sculpting, and many other surprises for all ages.

The 6th edition in 2025 notably hosted the Somali singer Sahra Halgan and the Cie Eve & Eve, confirming the festival's ambition to blend renowned artists with emerging companies.

Cuisine at the Heart of the Festival

True to its name, the festival places a strong emphasis on gastronomy. On Friday evening, a banquet show brings together spectators and artists around a festive meal. On Saturday, stalls offer artisanal pizzas, Trièves ice cream, falafels, and other local specialties throughout the day. On Sunday morning, a friendly brunch concludes the festival in a warm atmosphere.

A Remarkable Heritage Setting

The festival takes place near the town hall and the Saint-Firmin chapel, an exceptional building listed as a historic monument. This heritage setting gives the festival a unique charm, with its ancient stones, gardens, and panoramic views of the valley.

An Associative and Committed Festival

Les Délices Perchés is organized by the cultural association Les Délices Perchés, composed of passionate volunteers. The festival champions values of friendliness, social diversity, and cultural accessibility, offering a quality program in a rural village far from major cultural centers.
