About Libre d'Art
The Festival Libre d'Art is an artistic creation festival that takes place every summer in Saint-Privat, Ardèche, by the river. For five days, the festival invites you to explore creativity in all its forms: workshops, shows, visual arts, theatre, dance, voice, writing, concerts, live karaoke, a creators' market, and an open stage. Founded by artists Jade and Charlotte on the values of experimentation, benevolence, and conviviality, the Festival Libre d'Art is a space of artistic freedom where one tests, fails, succeeds, and invents together.
Five Days of Creative Freedom
The Festival Libre d'Art takes place every summer at Jardins Intérieurs, 10 rue du Buis in Saint-Privat (07200), on the banks of the Ardèche. For five days, this artistic creation festival offers a rich program combining workshops, shows, visual arts, encounters, and convivial moments. The exceptional natural setting — by the Ardèche river, with a private beach and gardens — gives the festival a unique atmosphere, blending art and nature.
The Festival's Three Values
The Festival Libre d'Art is based on three founding values. First, experimentation: «we test, we fail, we succeed, we invent». The festival is a space of freedom where everyone is invited to step out of their comfort zone and explore new forms of expression. Second, benevolence: the festival creates a welcoming and respectful environment where every participant feels free to create without judgment. Finally, conviviality: «we laugh together, we share, we create side by side». The festival is above all a place for encounters and human sharing.
Visual Arts, Shows, and Workshops
The program of the Festival Libre d'Art covers a wide artistic spectrum: visual arts (painting, collage, sculpture, installation), live performances (theatre, dance, performances, clown), vocal exploration and singing, creative writing, art therapy, sound yoga, concerts, live karaoke, a creators' market, and an open stage. Participatory workshops are at the heart of the festival, led by experienced artist-facilitators, allowing everyone to learn about different artistic practices and create their own works. The open stage offers everyone the opportunity to go on stage and share their creativity with the public.
A Site on the Banks of the Ardèche
The festival takes place at Jardins Intérieurs, a living and creative space located on the banks of the Ardèche, in Saint-Privat. The site offers accommodation rooms (single, double, or triple-quadruple), a campsite and caravan area, a heated swimming pool, and a private beach on the river. This setting allows festival-goers to have an immersive experience, staying on-site and fully enjoying the five days of the festival.
Local Cuisine and World Flavors
The catering at the Festival Libre d'Art highlights local and seasonal products, with cuisine prepared on-site. The festival notably welcomes chefs specializing in Thai cuisine, adding an international touch to the festival's open spirit. Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and breaks) are included in the stay packages, creating moments of shared conviviality between festival-goers and artists.

The 2026 edition of the Festival Libre d'Art takes place over five days, from Saturday, June 20 to Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Jardins Intérieurs in Saint-Privat (07200), on the banks of the Ardèche. The festival opens daily at 2:00 PM and continues until midnight, with a continuous program alternating creative workshops during the day and festive evenings.
Seven confirmed participating artists
Seven artists lead the workshops and performances of the 2026 edition, each bringing their discipline and universe:
- Isabelle Jantzem — art therapy, dance, drawing, writing (workshops « Dessine ton arbre » and « Réveiller sa créativité dans la nature »)
- Claire Dekeyser — painting on wood stumps, art from natural materials
- Aurélia Etienne — vocal exploration, improvisation, singing (voice workshops + « Grangou » show)
- Charlotte Le Colleter — painting, collage, singing, theater (workshop « Météo Sur Toile »)
- Claire Funck Brentano — sound yoga, vocal exploration, sound relaxation
- Isabelle Follain — theater, clown, art therapy (« Jouer, c'est dire oui à la vie »)
- Hélène Bulle — creative writing, psycho-corporeal therapy (workshop « De la page blanche à la plume »)
Shows and concerts
Two flagship proposals animate the evenings of the 2026 edition: the « Grangou » show by Aurélia Etienne, a vibrant musical creation blending voice, improvisation, electro-acoustic colors, poetry, and gentle madness; and the concert by the Mahala group, a Persian, Balkan, and pop fusion, with singing in Persian and English, accompanied by caval, viola, guitar, bass, and drums. The evenings also include an open stage, live karaoke, and a creators' market.
Accommodation and catering
The 2026 edition offers several accommodation options on the Jardins Intérieurs site: without accommodation (meals included), camping or caravan, shared room, double room, or single room. All options include full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner, breaks). The catering highlights local seasonal products and also offers Thai cuisine prepared by specialized chefs.

- Art therapy, dance, drawing, writing — Isabelle Jantzem: « Dessine ton arbre » (sensory journey with blindfolded drawing), « Réveiller sa créativité dans la nature » (five-senses immersion)
- Creative writing — Hélène Bulle: « De la page blanche à la plume », 3-hour writing workshop with energetic and somatic tools
