The Festival Mondial de la Magie: Europe's biggest magic show
The Festival Mondial de la Magie is a traveling magic show created in 1954 by the Lyon-based magician André Sanlaville. This innovative and visionary show played for ten consecutive summers at the Olympia in Paris before conquering stages around the world, from America to Asia, from Africa to the Middle East.
A triumphant return since 2023
After André Sanlaville's retirement in 1987, a passionate new production decided to relaunch the Festival Mondial de la Magie in 2023. The success was immediate: the show has already captivated over 100,000 spectators in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
A breathtaking show for the whole family
The Festival Mondial de la Magie brings together on stage the world's greatest magicians, all recipients of prestigious awards at major international magic festivals. The show features all forms of illusion:
- Grand illusions: spectacular appearances, disappearances, and transformations
- Mentalism: mind reading and predictions
- Comedy magic: humor and prestidigitation
- Close-up magic: intimate magic and card tricks
- Digital magic: new technologies in the service of illusion
- Manipulation: dexterity and stagecraft
- Light magic: magical visual effects
A show suitable for all ages
The program is specially designed to amaze the whole family. No act is intended to frighten children. However, the show is not recommended for children under 4 years old due to the show's duration and sound volume.
A tour across France and Europe
The Festival Mondial de la Magie travels to the biggest venues in France and Europe: Dôme de Paris, Zéniths, Maisons de la Culture, and prestigious theaters. The 2025-2026 tour includes stops in many French cities, including Clermont-Ferrand.
