A Family Festival Dedicated to Games in All Their Forms
The Festival of Games and Toys in Ugine is an annual event that transforms the town of Ugine into a huge playground every first weekend of December. Across more than 3,000 m² of dedicated spaces, the festival invites visitors of all ages to discover, try, and share hundreds of games: modern board games, classic board games, oversized wooden games, artisanal toys, skill games, and many more.
Over 25 Years of Gaming Passion
Created in 1998, the Festival of Games and Toys has grown and renewed itself over the editions. What started as a local initiative has become an eagerly awaited event for families from all over Savoie and neighboring departments. The 27th edition, held in December 2025, testifies to the vitality and loyalty of the public for this warm and friendly event.
A Space for Meeting and Sharing
The festival doesn't just line up games on tables; it's a true living and sharing space. Passionate facilitators explain the rules, guide games, and introduce the year's new releases. Game creators and toy artisans are regularly present to showcase their creations and interact with the public. The warm and relaxed atmosphere makes it a special time for families.
A Commitment to Solidarity
The Festival of Games and Toys stands out for its commitment to solidarity: a portion of the entrance fee is donated to the Téléthon, combining the pleasure of gaming with generosity. This historic partnership gives the festival an additional human dimension, greatly appreciated by visitors.
