Raptown: French Rap Comes to Brittany

Created in 2019, Raptown Festival quickly established itself as the major rap event in Western France. Organized at the Parc des Expositions de Lorient Bretagne Sud in Lanester, the festival brings together the biggest names in French rap and emerging hip-hop talents each year in a venue with a capacity of several thousand spectators.

A Program That's Gaining Momentum

Over its editions, Raptown has stood out for the quality of its programming. The 6th edition (Raptown #6) in 2025 notably hosted top-tier artists like Vald, Oboy, and Guy2Bezbar, alongside rising talents such as Bushi, Jolagreen23, JRK 19, Théodort, and Carbonne. The festival regularly sells out, with tickets selling out very quickly after going on sale.

A Launchpad for Emerging Artists

Beyond the headliners, Raptown places significant importance on emerging artists and new voices in French rap. This commitment to mixing established artists with new discoveries makes the festival a true launchpad for the hip-hop scene, where the public can discover the future stars of the genre alongside their favorite artists.

The Parc des Expositions de Lorient Bretagne Sud, located at 286 rue Rouget de Lisle in Lanester, offers an ideal setting to host an event of this scale. Growing Success

Since its first edition, which drew around 8,000 spectators, Raptown Festival has continued to grow. Subsequent editions have confirmed the public's enthusiasm for this unique event in Brittany, making Raptown a must-attend fixture on the French rap calendar. The festival is supported by the association Studio en tête, under the creative direction of Mathieu Boudot.
