The solidarity rock festival for sick children in Héric
Created in 2022 by the associations B.H.D.44 and FREN'ETIC, La Scène de Fer is a solidarity rock festival held annually at the Complexe sportif des Frenouelles in Héric, a town located twenty kilometers north of Nantes, in Loire-Atlantique. The primary objective of this event is to raise funds for associations that support hospitalized sick children as well as dialysis or transplant patients. Behind the distorted guitars and powerful riffs, La Scène de Fer carries a message of solidarity and generosity.
The programming of La Scène de Fer features tribute bands honoring the greatest names in rock and metal: AC/DC (Dirty Rosie, High Voltage), Led Zeppelin (Zepset), Iron Maiden (The Irons), Metallica (Orion), Deep Purple (Made In Japan), The Cure (Inside The Cure), The Doors (The Doors Spirit), Guns N' Roses (Guns For Illusion), Van Halen (5150, Makeover), Supertramp (Tramp Experience), Foo Fighters (French Monkey), and Muse (Rocket Baby Dolls). Alongside these tributes, the festival highlights local bands from the Nantes and Brittany rock scene: Burn Out, The Bloyet Brothers, The Blue Butter Pot, Fred Cat, Les Chats Électriques, Voodoo Skin, Overdrivers, and Dragon, among others.
La Scène de Fer is distinguished by its family and participatory spirit. Driven by passionate rock volunteers, this event offers accessible programming in a warm outdoor setting. The festival has grown gradually, expanding from a single day in its early editions to a full two-day weekend starting in 2026. All proceeds are donated to partner associations, making each concert an act of solidarity. Friendliness, good humor, and sharing are at the heart of La Scène de Fer's identity, proving each year that rock can be a powerful vehicle for generosity.
For its 5th edition, La Scène de Fer is taking a step forward and expanding to two days, on Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the Complexe sportif des Frenouelles in Héric. This evolution reflects the growing enthusiasm for this solidarity rock festival in Héric.
