Vignobles en Scène — edition 2026
Vignobles en Scène 2026 in the Nantes Vineyard
The second edition of Vignobles en Scène in the Nantes vineyard will take place from October 16 to 18, 2026, in keeping with the tradition of the third weekend of October. The labeled Vignobles & Découvertes wine estates in Vallet and surrounding towns will open their doors for a weekend of unique wine tourism experiences.
A Program in Three Collections
True to the national format, the 2026 edition will offer activities organized around the three collections of experiences: tasting (tastings, food and wine pairings, meetings with chefs), immersive (walks through the vineyards, cellar visits, sensory workshops), and creative (concerts, shows, exhibitions in the heart of the wine estates).
Emblematic Vineyard Locations
Among the sites expected to host activities are Château de la Frémoire, Château de Goulaine, and several excellent wine estates in the Nantes vineyard, between Vallet, La Haye-Fouassière, La Chapelle-Heulin, and Château-Thébaud. The detailed program will be announced closer to the event.

Vignobles en Scène: Wine Tourism Celebrated in the Nantes Vineyard
Vignobles en Scène, formerly known as Le Fascinant Week-end Vignobles & Découvertes, is the major annual event for wine tourism in France. Supported by the Fédération Nationale Vignobles & Découvertes, this national event takes place every third weekend of October across all 74 labeled destinations throughout the country. In the Nantes vineyard, the land of Muscadet and Melon de Bourgogne, the event takes on a special dimension by taking over wine estates, castles, and heritage sites in Vallet, the capital of Muscadet, and its surrounding towns.
A Legacy of Over Ten Years
The event originated in 2014 when the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes wine committee created Le Fascinant Week-end with the support of the Region, aiming to promote the Vignobles & Découvertes label, created in 2009 by the State and Atout France. Initially regional, the event gained national scope starting in 2019, the year the Fédération Nationale Vignobles & Découvertes was founded. In 2025, the event was rebranded Vignobles en Scène — Les Journées Vignobles & Découvertes, with a modernized visual identity and the ambition to become the structuring event for French wine tourism, similar to the European Heritage Days for culture.
Three Collections of Experiences
The programming of Vignobles en Scène is organized around three main categories of activities, designed to appeal to all audiences:
Taste Experiences
Exclusive tastings, food and wine pairings, meetings with chefs and artisans, culinary workshops, and gourmet discoveries: these experiences highlight the flavors of the Nantes terroir, from Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie to the communal appellations, as well as local gastronomic specialties.
Immersive Experiences
Walks through the vineyards, visits to cellars and wineries, sensory workshops, sports or contemplative routes through the wine landscapes: immersive experiences invite visitors to discover the Nantes vineyard in a different way, blending nature, heritage, and winemaking know-how.
Creative Experiences
Concerts, live performances, screenings, exhibitions, and artistic encounters: the creative dimension of Vignobles en Scène creates a dialogue between art and wine in exceptional settings. In the Nantes vineyard, artists take over wine estates to offer original performances amidst the vines and cellars.
Unusual Banquets
As emblematic highlights of the event, the unusual banquets are convivial meals organized in unique locations—castles, abbeys, museums, archaeological sites—showcasing local products and regional wines. In the Nantes vineyard, these moments of sharing take place in exceptional wine estates, offering a unique gastronomic experience in the heart of the Muscadet terroir.
The Nantes Vineyard: A Labeled Destination
The Nantes vineyard is one of the French destinations labeled Vignobles & Découvertes. From Vallet to La Haye-Fouassière, from Mouzillon to Château-Thébaud, including La Chapelle-Heulin, Le Landreau, and Monnières, wine estates open their doors during Vignobles en Scène to share their passion, their terroir, and their vintages. Château de la Frémoire and Château de Goulaine are among the emblematic sites hosting activities during the event.
