Festi'Vals du Jeu is a unique fun festival that takes place every summer at Parc de Vals-les-Bains, in Ardèche. For over thirty years, this summer event has brought together young and old around a common passion: games. More than 400 games are available to discover: games from here and elsewhere, classic or little-known, forgotten or new, traditional or contemporary, strategy or skill.

A festival for all ages

Festi'Vals du Jeu is designed to be accessible to all audiences, from 18 months to 99 years old. The Ludothèque Le Palabre offers a dedicated space for toddlers with parent-child games suitable from 18 months. Le Point Jeux provides a wide selection of modern and classic board games for older children and adults. All activities are supervised by passionate facilitators who guide players in discovering new gaming worlds.

Organized by the Centre culturel Les Quinconces

The festival is organized by the Centre culturel Les Quinconces in Vals-les-Bains, a major cultural venue in the spa town. Located at 3 avenue Claude Expilly, Les Quinconces hosts a rich and diverse cultural program throughout the year, with Festi'Vals du Jeu being its summer highlight. The 2024 edition marked the 32nd edition of the festival, and the 2025 edition its 33rd edition, demonstrating the longevity and vitality of this event.

A free and friendly event

Admission to Festi'Vals du Jeu is free, in line with the accessibility philosophy that has driven the project since its inception. The festival takes place outdoors in the Parc de Vals, a green and shaded setting in the heart of the spa resort. Festival-goers can play freely, participate in tournaments and activities, and enjoy the on-site refreshment and food services. Festi'Vals du Jeu traditionally takes place on the third weekend of July, from Saturday afternoon until midnight.
