Bléneau is a commune in the Yonne (89220) with about 1,150 inhabitants, nestled in the heart of the natural region of Puisaye, this land of ponds, forests, and hedgerows that extends to the borders of Burgundy and Loiret. The Fête de Bléneau: an unmissable summer event

The Fête de Bléneau is the highlight of the summer festivities for the entire commune and its surroundings. Organized by the Comité des Fêtes de Bléneau, it traditionally takes place around July 13th and 14th, in conjunction with the national holiday celebrations. This event brings together several hundred Blénaviens, families, young people, and visitors passing through Puisaye-Forterre every year.

The festival begins on the evening of July 13th with a friendly barbecue under the Halle starting at 6:30 PM, a moment of sharing and meeting neighbors. The evening continues with a dance evening hosted by a DJ or a local band, before culminating in fireworks launched from the Jardins d'Eau Pierre Doudeau at 11 PM, whose reflections on the water create a particularly magical spectacle.
