About Les Chemins d'artistes

Every two years, Les Chemins d'artistes brings together around thirty artists along a hiking trail between Villeneuve-sur-Yonne and Dixmont, in the north of the Yonne department. Each artist installs an ephemeral work in the heart of nature, at a site of their choosing, along the loop starting from the church of Valprofonde. The event is organized by the association Le Ruban Vert, which has been working for ten years to protect biodiversity and ecological corridors in the Othe-Gâtinais region, and which launched this biennial in 2022.
