About Fête de la Ville de Clichy

The Fête de Clichy-sous-Bois is the town's annual festive event, featuring the Fête de la Ville, Bastille Day on July 14th, and Clichy Plage in the summer. A sports forum, flea market, environmental village, and free activities bring residents together in a warm atmosphere on the town hall lawn.

The Fête de Clichy-sous-Bois: A United Town Celebrating

Clichy-sous-Bois (93390), a town in Seine-Saint-Denis nestled on the edge of the Bondy forest, develops a dense festive program each year that testifies to the vitality and commitment of its residents. Known for its urban renewal challenges and dynamic youth, Clichy-sous-Bois makes its municipal festivals moments of social cohesion and fraternity.

The Fête de la Ville

The Fête de la Ville, generally organized in spring or early summer, takes place from 10 am to 6 pm on the town hall lawn and in the surrounding town center. The program includes a day of conviviality with the inauguration of the sports forum at 11:30 am, a flea market throughout the day, stand-based activities, inflatable games for children, and an environmental village offering nature awareness activities. This popular and inclusive festival embodies the town's spirit of solidarity.

Bastille Day: Firefighters' Ball and Fireworks

July 14th is celebrated with enthusiasm in Clichy-sous-Bois. The evening of July 13th is enlivened by the traditional firefighters' ball at Allée du Chêne-Pointu, which welcomes families and revelers from 9 pm in a festive musical atmosphere. At 10:30 pm, a fireworks display is launched from the town hall lawn, illuminating the Seine-Saint-Denis sky with bright colors before a large and enthusiastic crowd.

Clichy Plage: Summer in the City

From July 19th to August 10th, Clichy Plage takes over the town hall lawn, transforming the town into an urban seaside resort. An inflatable pool, water games, inflatable structures, sports activities, and other summer entertainment are offered free of charge to residents. This popular initiative is particularly appreciated by families who are not going on vacation, offering a festive and refreshing alternative in the heart of the town.

A Territory in Transition

Clichy-sous-Bois has been engaged for several years in an ambitious urban renovation program that is transforming its landscape. The construction of the extended T4 tramway and numerous renovated public facilities contribute to improving the living environment. The town's festivals accompany this transformation by fostering meeting and dialogue among residents, reflecting a united community proud of its identity.
