Fête de la Musique: the city of Pontoise sets the tempo!
Concerts, choirs, DJ sets, street stages: music takes over the streets of Pontoise on Sunday, June 21st, for the Fête de la Musique.
The Fête de la Musique takes on a new dimension in Pontoise. On Sunday, June 21st, the City, associations, shopkeepers, and local partners offer an expanded program, designed to bring music to several neighborhoods and invite everyone to enjoy the evening close to home.
Stages in several neighborhoods
Place du général-de-Gaulle, near the train station, will host a first stage from 4 PM with the wind orchestra of the À vos pupitres! association, followed by the acoustic Jam Trio, the vocal and stage troupe Polygammes, the majorettes Les Iris de Menucourt, and then a DJ set by Samos at the end of the evening.
At the bandstand in the City garden, styles will follow one another until 10:30 PM: pop-rock, world music, acoustic duo, classical music, gospel, and contemporary music. The celebration will also extend to the banks of the Oise. At the Guinguette de Pontoise, open from 6 PM to 11 PM, a live concert will take the audience on a journey from Amy Winehouse to Stevie Wonder, before a DJ evening featuring revisited classics.
On the forecourt of Place Notre-Dame, the parish will offer a musical afternoon combining gospel, swing, and variety.
Shopkeepers will also participate in this dynamic, with several events planned in the city center and on the quays. The Paris-Pontoise brewery in Bossut will notably offer a DJ and karaoke, while La Bonne Entente will host two concerts, at midday and in the evening. From the train station to the quays, from the city center to living areas, this edition affirms a simple ambition: to make the Fête de la Musique a shared, lively, and open event for all, as close as possible to the residents.

Each year, the City of Pontoise launches a call for projects aimed at associations, groups, and artists (amateur or professional) wishing to perform in public spaces. The application deadline for the 2026 edition was March 31, 2026. No remuneration is provided: participation is in line with the original spirit of the Fête de la Musique, based on sharing, free artistic expression, and conviviality. Acoustic formats are preferred, except for artists with complete equipment autonomy; each artist remains responsible for their own equipment. The city handles programming and communication.
