Pop-rock, jazz, salsa and guinguette disco in the town center streets
Every June 21st, the town of Vincennes transforms into a huge open-air music stage. From the historic heart of the town to its gardens and squares, the streets of Vincennes resonate with the most varied sounds: pop, rock, jazz, Latin music, world music… Fête de la Musique in Vincennes is a moment of popular gathering awaited by all the inhabitants and visitors of the Paris Est Marne et Bois territory.
The program for Fête de la Musique in Vincennes is distinguished by its multi-site organization, allowing each visitor to wander from square to square according to their musical desires:
One of the highlights of Vincennes' Fête de la Musique is the "Disco Guinguette" ball, offered in the evening in one of the town's gardens or squares. This format combines the warm and relaxed atmosphere of the guinguettes on the banks of the Marne with the disco and funk sounds of the 1970s-80s, creating an intergenerational festive atmosphere appreciated by families and night owls alike.
The Cœur de Ville gardens, at the heart of Vincennes' recent urban development, also host musical entertainment during Fête de la Musique. These modern green spaces are an opportunity for residents of the new neighborhoods to enjoy the festival in a green and friendly setting.
Vincennes is world-famous for its royal castle and its vast wood on the outskirts of Paris. But it is also a lively, commercial, and culturally active town, where Fête de la Musique is part of an annual calendar of events that its inhabitants are proud of. Well-served by metro line 1 (Château de Vincennes terminus), it attracts visitors from all over the Val-de-Marne and eastern Paris every June 21st.
The 2026 Fête de la Musique in Vincennes will once again take over the squares and streets of the town center on June 21st. Pop-rock, jazz, Latin music, and brass bands are expected. Full program to be announced.
