The Fête de la Musique in Sucy-en-Brie: four stages at Ferme de Grand-Val

For several years, the City of Sucy-en-Brie has organized its Fête de la Musique at the Centre culturel de la Ferme de Grand-Val, one of the most beautiful cultural facilities in Val-de-Marne. This site, which combines a restored old Briard farm and a modern performance hall, hosts one of the major musical events in southeastern Île-de-France every June 21st.

Four stages, nearly 200 musicians

The format implemented by the municipality relies on four simultaneous stages: two installed in the courtyard and two in the garden, allowing for fluid public circulation between the spaces. Nearly 200 musicians take turns on these stages for approximately nine hours of continuous programming, from mid-afternoon until midnight.

An eclectic program

The strength of Sucy-en-Brie's Fête de la Musique lies in the diversity of its program. The Intercommunal Conservatory and the Municipal Band of Sucy-en-Brie present the work of their students and ensembles. Alongside them, numerous local and amateur groups perform: rock, pop, French chanson bands, young musical projects, and DJ sets in the late evening. Recent editions have notably welcomed groups such as Les Jacques Sonnent Five, Cuties Rock, Les Acolytes, La Bande à Nono, Doudou Vampire, Minuit 7, or Climats.

Catering and family atmosphere

The Kacontremoun association provides on-site catering, allowing festival-goers to spend the entire evening on the site without having to leave the concerts. Professional sound and lighting are installed on all stages. The event is entirely free and open to all audiences, from families to music lovers.
