Town Festival 2026 — September 6 and 8 at Parc Leclerc
For this new edition, the City of Villeneuve-la-Garenne invites residents to two days of completely free festivities at Parc Leclerc, avenue du 8 mai 1945. The event combines live performance, family entertainment, and discovery of the park in a friendly atmosphere.
Tightrope Walking and Circus Arts
A highlight of this edition, introductory tightrope walking workshops are offered throughout the day to test one's balance, before a spectacular slackline demonstration that concludes with a professional crossing the lake.
Activities for the Whole Family
The program offers nature games and wooden games, donkey rides, a mini-train (gentle activity from 5 years old), an artisan village with butter and bread making workshops as well as a blacksmith workshop, and a Ferris wheel. About ten local artisans exhibit their creations: jewelry, bags and pouches, natural scented solid soaps and shampoos. A catering area is set up on site to fully enjoy the activities in the park, and a dedicated youth area completes the setup.
The mini-train travels through the town to reach Parc Leclerc from 11:45 AM.

The Fête de la Ville de Villeneuve-la-Garenne: Three Years of Shared Joy
Villeneuve-la-Garenne is a town in the Hauts-de-Seine department with approximately 23,000 inhabitants, nestled in the loop of the Seine north of Paris, between Gennevilliers and Saint-Denis. A popular and multicultural city, it has committed in recent years to strengthening social bonds through culture and festive events. The Fête de la Ville, first held three years ago, is the most emblematic expression of this policy.
Organized by the town hall, this annual event takes place at Parc Leclerc, located on avenue du 8 mai 1945, one of the main green spaces in the town. This park, frequented by families all year round, transforms for the occasion into a festive space filled with magic, circus, and music.
A Program Focused on Live Performance
The Fête de la Ville de Villeneuve-la-Garenne is distinguished by the central role given to live performance, particularly circus arts and magic. These disciplines, accessible to all and universally appreciated, reach a wide audience, from children to seniors. The magic shows create moments of surprise and wonder, while the circus acts offer quality performances in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Music is also at the heart of the program, with performances by local or regional artists contributing to the day's festive atmosphere. These musical performances, blending different styles and sensibilities, reflect the cultural diversity of Villeneuve-la-Garenne.
La Fête de la Musique, Another Festive Event
The Fête de la Musique on June 21st is another highlight of Villeneuve-la-Garenne's festive calendar. On the town hall square, two days of concerts bring together the town's orchestral bands, the Jazz Orchestra Club Musical La Poste, and eclectic musical groups. The program for Friday, June 20th, features local orchestras, while Saturday, June 21st, offers film music in the town hall gardens in the afternoon, before an evening with the band Dancing Project.
A City Looking Towards the Future
Villeneuve-la-Garenne is a town that has been profoundly transformed in recent years thanks to Grand Paris. The arrival of Line 15 of the Grand Paris Express, which will serve the town, will further enhance its accessibility and attractiveness. In this context of change, the Fête de la Ville plays an essential role: it creates connections, fosters encounters between neighborhoods and communities, and contributes to building a strong and shared local identity.
