The annual festivities of Le Raincy between heritage, open air and conviviality
The Fête du Raincy brings together residents every year around several festive events: the Christmas market, the Plage du Raincy in summer, the National Day with fireworks, and the Fête des Lumières in winter. A city of Art Deco architecture dominated by the famous Église Notre-Dame de la Consolation, Le Raincy offers festivities that highlight its exceptional heritage.
Le Raincy (93340) is an exceptional city in Seine-Saint-Denis. Known for its remarkable architectural heritage — notably the Église Notre-Dame de la Consolation, a masterpiece of 20th-century architecture built in 1923 by Auguste Perret, whose stained glass windows by Marguerite Huré bathe the interior in exceptional colored light — the city cultivates a refined art of living and a rich and varied festive life.
The summer highlight of the Fête du Raincy is undoubtedly the Plage du Raincy, which transforms public spaces into a true urban seaside resort every summer. Deckchairs, water games, sports and cultural workshops, open-air concerts: for several weeks, the city invites its residents to enjoy the summer without leaving their town. Free concerts are organized in the evening on the market square, creating a festive and popular atmosphere.
July 14th is celebrated with great pomp in Le Raincy. The evening of July 13th begins with a torchlight procession through the streets of the center, followed by a popular ball led by an orchestra on the market square. On the evening of July 14th, a grand fireworks display is launched from the town hall park, illuminating the Seine-Saint-Denis sky before thousands of spectators. The commemorative ceremony in the morning brings together elected officials, veterans, and residents.
In spring, Le Raincy participates in the Rendez-vous aux Jardins, a national event that opens the city's green spaces to the public. Guided tours of the town hall park, gardening workshops, conferences on biodiversity, exhibitions, and shows are offered free of charge, highlighting the botanical richness of this green and residential city.
In December, the Fête des Lumières showcases the city's illuminations and street performances. Organized around the Town Hall Square, it offers light workshops for children and adults and performances by street artists, creating a winter magic in the streets of Le Raincy. A Christmas market also sets up its chalets on the market square, offering gift ideas, decorations, and gourmet products in a festive atmosphere.
The Fête du Raincy 2026 will renew its summer festivities with July 14th (fireworks display at the town hall park, popular ball) and the Plage du Raincy. Full program coming soon on the city's website.
Le Raincy will again offer its major summer festivities in 2026: the Plage du Raincy with free concerts and entertainment, and the July 14th celebrations with a popular ball and fireworks display at the town hall park. The detailed program will be published by the city in June 2026.
