The National Holiday in Bondy: A Celebration by the Ourcq Canal
Every July 14th, the town of Bondy (93140) invites its residents to celebrate the National Holiday in an exceptional natural setting: the banks of the Ourcq canal, at the Zac de l'Ourcq, Chemin de Halage. This site, undergoing urban revitalization, offers an open and accessible space for a festive evening bringing together several thousand people from Bondy.
The day of July 14th begins with the commemorative ceremony at 10:30 AM at Chemin de Halage, in the presence of elected officials, veterans, and representatives of patriotic associations. This ceremony recalls the deep meaning of the national holiday and the Bondy community's commitment to republican values.
A Festive and Musical Evening on the Canal Banks
Starting at 5:30 PM, the Zac de l'Ourcq transforms into a festive stage with an ambitious musical program. At 6:00 PM, the collective What The Funk kicks off the party with an electrifying DJ set. At 7:30 PM, the group AKO takes the stage for a live concert that electrifies the crowd. At 9:15 PM, the collective What The Funk returns to the decks for a second set before the evening's highlight: the fireworks display at 11:30 PM, which concludes the festivities in a blaze of light and color over the canal.
Food trucks are set up on site to provide catering, allowing families and groups of friends to dine on-site before the evening's entertainment.
