A centuries-old tradition in the heart of Velay

The Foire Expo du Puy-en-Velay is part of the long tradition of great medieval fairs that have made the city famous. For over 70 years, this biennial event has transformed the city center of Le Puy-en-Velay into a vast space for discovery, encounters, and commerce. Historically organized by the Association Foire Exposition Velay-Auvergne (FEVA), the fair is now led by Centre France Événements, a subsidiary of the Centre France group specializing in the organization of fairs, exhibitions, and public events since 1996.

A large-scale open-air event

Every two years, for six days, the magnificent Jardin Henri Vinay and the Place du Breuil are transformed to host nearly 200 exhibitors spread over 10,000 m² of exhibition space. The fair is distinguished by its free and open-air nature, perpetuating the spirit of the great medieval fairs: free, open to all, and rooted in the heart of the city. Visitors stroll among the stands in the exceptional setting of the public garden and the central square of Le Puy-en-Velay, with the silhouette of the Notre-Dame cathedral and the statue of Notre-Dame de France in the background.
