The 2026 edition of the Foire Exposition de Périgueux, originally scheduled from Thursday, September 10th to Sunday, September 13th, 2026, at the Parc des Expositions du Périgord in Marsac-sur-l'Isle, has been cancelled. The organizer, Alliance Expo, announced the decision on July 24th, 2026, due to an insufficient number of registered exhibitors.

The Foire Exposition de Périgueux will not take place in 2026. The event, which was planned for September 10th to 13th, 2026, at the Parc des Expositions du Périgord in Marsac-sur-l'Isle, has been cancelled by its organizer, Alliance Expo.
The news was announced on July 24th, 2026, by Cédric Dumas, director of Alliance Expo, to ICI Périgord (formerly France Bleu Périgord), confirming a report by Sud Ouest. With less than two months to go before the opening, only 180 exhibitors had confirmed their attendance, compared to the usual 220 to 250. "We would have jeopardized the event's profitability," the director explained.
Reasons cited
- An economic climate that is discouraging merchants, who are hesitant to staff a booth for several days with low sales expectations.
- The new layout of the exhibition center, which covers a smaller area.
- Ongoing construction in the area and the associated disruptions.
What about the future?
Alliance Expo is considering evolving the event: potentially changing the dates, as the fair currently falls during the back-to-school season when visitor purchasing power is limited, and moving to a biennial format alternating with the Foire de Bergerac. No dates have been set for a future edition at this time.
