About Molières en scène
Molières en scène brings the bastide village of Molières, in the Dordogne, to life for one weekend in September. Established in 2009 by the local village festival committee, the event features theatre companies, storytellers, and musicians performing throughout the streets and the village square. In case of rain, performances move to the village hall. Admission is by voluntary contribution.
Molières en scène — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Molières en scène takes place on September 11th and 12th. On Friday evening, the Compagnie du Vide kicks off the festival with a concert featuring vocals and piano. Saturday features a packed lineup of five performances, ranging from kamishibai storytelling and a musical solo to a street performance adapted from a Lewis Trondheim comic book.

- Welcome — theatre, life in a nursing home
- Broglii — street performance, adapted from a Lewis Trondheim comic book
- Camino — musical solo by Denis Boyer
- Terre ! — kamishibai storytelling, puppets, and live music
- À l'épreuve des pavés — concert performed by seven inmates and their guard, as part of the Ministry of Justice's "Une note d'espoir" program
Saturday's schedule has not yet been finalized by the organizers.
