The great fair of Haut Anjou

For over sixty years, the Foire Exposition de Segré has been an unmissable event in Haut Anjou. Organized by the COFES (Organizing Committee of the Foire d'Exposition de Segré), this event takes place every year in early April at the Parc des Expositions in Segré-en-Anjou Bleu and brings together over 120 exhibitors — artisans, merchants, local producers, associations — around a theme renewed each edition.

A different theme each year

One of the originalities of the Foire de Segré is its adoption of an annual theme that sets the tone for each edition. In 2025, the 60th edition was dedicated to 'the history of the Foire de Segré', returning to the great tradition initiated by its founder Georges Peltier. The 61st edition in 2026 celebrates Ireland under the name 'Irlan Days', with traditional Celtic music, Irish dances, and an immersion into the festive atmosphere of the Emerald Isle.

Agricultural show and local produce

The agricultural show, organized in partnership with local agricultural stakeholders, is one of the fair's highlights. It showcases the expertise of local breeders through livestock competitions and demonstrations. Visitors can also discover Anjou's local products at the food stands and from local producers, in a friendly and gourmet atmosphere.

Entertainment and festivities

The Foire de Segré is more than just a commercial exhibition: it's a true popular festival. The program includes entertainment for all ages — games, shows, workshops for children —, craft demonstrations, and an evening event on Friday night. For three days, the Parc des Expositions becomes the beating heart of local life, bringing together residents and visitors in a warm atmosphere.
