A solidarity festival at the Château de Verteuil

HeArt Fest is a solidarity music festival held at the Château de Verteuil-sur-Charente, an emblematic historical monument in North Charente. Organized by the association Verteuil et Musique, founded in 2010, this festival combines live music and charitable commitment. The name "HeArt" — a contraction of "Heart" and "Art" — reflects the event's dual purpose: to offer quality musical programming while supporting solidarity causes.

An eclectic musical program

HeArt Fest brings together about fifteen bands and artists with diverse musical universes: jazz, blues, rock, folk, pop, French variety, and international variety. This musical diversity allows the festival to reach a wide audience, from lovers of acoustic music to fans of more electric sounds. Concerts take place over one or two days within the castle grounds, offering a unique musical experience in a remarkable heritage setting.

An organic producers' market and local catering

Alongside the musical program, HeArt Fest offers a 100% organic producers' market featuring more than a dozen exhibitors: butcher, fishmonger, cheese shop, crêperie, fruits and vegetables, Pineau des Charentes, goat cheeses, wines, and many other local products. This market allows festival-goers to eat on-site while discovering the flavors of the Charente region.

The Château de Verteuil, a heritage setting

The Château de Verteuil, overlooking the Charente river, provides an exceptional setting for the festival. This medieval castle, one of the most remarkable in the region, hosts concerts in its outdoor spaces, creating a unique atmosphere where music resonates between the ancient stones. The town of Verteuil-sur-Charente, classified among the most beautiful villages in Charente, complements this scenery with its picturesque streets and riverbanks.
