The legendary winter motorcycle gathering

The Hivernale des Millevaches is much more than just a motorcycle gathering: it's a living legend in the biker world. Created in 1969 by Michel Perdrix of MC95, this winter rally took place on the Millevaches Plateau from 1969 to 1979, quickly becoming an iconic event.

After a thirty-year break, the Moto-Club Meymacois revived the event in 2009, bringing this legendary gathering back to life. Since then, the Hivernale has seen considerable growth, now welcoming 3000 bikers every December on the Corrèze plateau.

A biker weekend on the Millevaches Plateau

The Hivernale takes place over a weekend in December, usually mid-December. Participants are welcomed at the Meymac Town Hall on Friday (10 am-8 pm) and Saturday (9 am-6 pm). Access to the site is exclusively reserved for motorized 2 and 3-wheeled vehicles with a Pass.

The first 3000 people to register online receive a complete package: site access pass, welcome gift, dated 2025 motorcycle sticker, drink, dated medal, and free firewood. For registrations beyond the 3000th, only the pass, access to firewood, and drink ticket are guaranteed.

Biker atmosphere and camaraderie

The Hivernale des Millevaches is above all about camaraderie and sharing among bikers. Despite the winter temperatures of the Millevaches Plateau, the atmosphere is warm with entertainment, meet-ups, and the famous collector's medal that all participants proudly wear.

Each year, the rally revives the tradition of great winter motorcycle gatherings, perpetuating the spirit of the 1970s while adapting to the expectations of contemporary bikers.
