Féerie des Lanternes

A kingdom of lights in the heart of Corrèze

Since its creation, the Féerie des Lanternes has established itself as a major winter event in Corrèze. Set in the exceptional surroundings of Castel Novel Castle in Varetz, this light festival transforms the historic park into a true luminous kingdom where art, technology, and enchantment meet.

Over 1000 giant illuminated sculptures mark out an immersive nocturnal trail that amazes young and old alike. Fantastic animals, mythological creatures, light gardens, and monumental installations create a unique magical and poetic atmosphere in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

A complete sensory experience

La Féerie des Lanternes is not limited to a simple light trail. The experience blends lights, music, video projections, and live shows. Costumed characters, circus artists, and performers animate the trail throughout the evening. A spectacular laser show concludes the visit in style.

A temporary stage hosts artists and circus acts every evening, enchanting visitors with magical performances in a dazzling staging.

A family event from December to February

Open from early December to mid-February, the festival offers several months of winter magic. The trail is accessible to all ages and suitable for families. Fast food and hot drinks are available on site. Free parking at the castle.
