Christmas in one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France
Every year in mid-December, the Ségur-le-Château Christmas Market takes over this medieval village, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Over 30 exhibitors, local artisans, and producers offer their creations. Festive entertainment with Santa Claus, Paw Patrol, Mickey, quad bike rides, fireworks, and a magical atmosphere in the village's cobbled streets.
The Ségur-le-Château Christmas Market benefits from an exceptional setting: this medieval village in Corrèze is listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Its cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, ruined castle, and Romanesque bridge create a unique atmosphere, particularly magical at Christmas time.
Organized in mid-December at the Champ de Foire (Fairground), the market transforms the village into a true Christmas postcard with its decorations, illuminations, and festive atmosphere.
The market brings together over 30 exhibitors: craft creators (jewelry, pottery, Christmas decorations, textile creations, candles), local producers (foie gras, confits, honey, cheeses, wines, chocolates), and sellers of Christmas specialties.
Visitors can shop for original gifts while supporting local crafts and Corrèze's regional producers. The friendly and warm atmosphere invites leisurely browsing among the stalls.
The organizing association, Les Amis de Ségur, offers a varied entertainment program for all ages. Santa Claus is present all day to meet children and hear their wishes. Santa's House welcomes the youngest in a magical setting.
Spectacular entertainment punctuates the day: Paw Patrol and Mickey parade through the village, quad bike rides are offered, and the day concludes with fireworks and a surprise arrival of Santa Claus.
Mulled wine, hot chocolate, roasted chestnuts, Christmas pastries, and local products are offered to warm up and fully enjoy this winter day. The musical ambiance and magical decorations complete this authentic Christmas scene.
