Brive in festive attire

Each year, from late November to early January, Brive-la-Gaillarde dons its festive lights to celebrate Christmas and New Year. For over a month, the city buzzes with the rhythm of end-of-year festivities with a rich and varied program for all audiences.

A complete festive program

The festivities include the arrival of Santa Claus in early December, a grand Christmas parade on December 21st, a gourmet market with concerts, magical illuminations, rides and attractions, an ice rink, and a winter funfair. Shows, creative workshops, and entertainment punctuate the entire month of December.

The Christmas market

The Christmas market is set up at the foot of the media library on Place Charles-de-Gaulle, in the heart of the city center. It offers local products (chocolate, foie gras, cheeses, charcuterie, seafood), local crafts, and Christmas specialties.

A merry New Year's Eve

The festivities continue until early January, allowing locals and visitors to enjoy a festive atmosphere throughout the holiday season.
