Jazz in the heart of Vivarais

Since 2009, the Jazz en Vivarais festival has enlivened the village of Vernoux-en-Vivarais, located at an altitude of 600 meters in the heart of Ardèche. Organized by the eponymous association, this summer event offers two evenings of concerts in the open air, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, on the first weekend of August.

An eclectic jazz program

The Jazz en Vivarais program mixes traditional jazz, contemporary jazz, swing, blues, and soul, featuring established artists and emerging bands. Each evening offers two concerts, allowing spectators to discover different facets of jazz. The 2025 edition (the 17th) hosted the 126ème Rue quartet, singer Sarah Lenka, the trio The Jazz Bicravers, and the quartet Ground Zéro.

An accessible and friendly festival

Jazz en Vivarais stands out for its accessible pricing policy: €15 per evening for adults, €10 for 13-25 year olds, free for under 13s. A two-evening pass is available for €25 (€20 for 13-25 year olds). Refreshments and on-site catering complete the experience, in a spirit of celebration and sharing.
