The Journées Châtillonnaises is the unmissable annual event for the Pays Châtillonnais, bringing together producers, artisans, local businesses, breeders, and associations over more than 10,000 m2 of open-air exhibition space. Organized every first weekend of June on the Esplanade du Cours l'Abbé, this festive and family-friendly event highlights the richness of the region's terroir and artisanal heritage.

A rich and varied program

The program for the Journées Châtillonnaises is organized around several areas:

• Brown cattle breed competition: breeders present their finest animals in competitions that attract connoisseurs from all over Burgundy.
• Artisan Village: a dozen professionals showcase their crafts through live demonstrations.
• Participatory workshops: free activities for families, introductions to traditional skills.
• Tastings: local producers offer tastings of Châtillonnais specialties.
• Concerts and shows: open-air musical entertainment throughout the weekend.
• Pony and donkey rides: activities for the younger ones.

A free and friendly event

Admission to the Journées Châtillonnaises is completely free, as are all the activities offered. About twenty restaurateurs and caterers provide meals on-site, allowing visitors to discover local products, wines, and craft beers from the region. The event attracts several thousand visitors over the two days each year, in a friendly and rural atmosphere.
