Lake Aubusson-d'Auvergne is an artificial body of water located in the Dore valley, at the foot of the Livradois mountains. Created in the 2000s, this leisure lake has become a popular relaxation and swimming spot for the region's inhabitants. With its developed beach, green spaces, and wooded surroundings, the lake offers an ideal environment for organizing festive and cultural events.

Aubusson-d'Auvergne, a village in Livradois-Forez

Aubusson-d'Auvergne is a rural commune in Livradois-Forez, located about forty kilometers east of Clermont-Ferrand. This peaceful village is part of the community of communes of Pays de Courpière. The commune regularly organizes festive events around its lake, notably a fireworks display on August 15th, perpetuating the tradition of popular festivals in this rural area.
