La Tête dans les Nuages is the young audience festival of the Théâtre d'Angoulême, the national stage of Charente. Created in 1998, this annual event in March has been offering a multidisciplinary program for children, teenagers, and families for over twenty-five years. The festival has become a highlight of the Théâtre d'Angoulême's cultural season, attracting around 7,000 spectators each year.

The program of La Tête dans les Nuages mixes circus, dance, musical theatre, puppetry, object theatre, magic, hybrid forms, visual arts, and literature. Each edition features a dozen shows selected for their artistic quality and their ability to amaze and challenge young audiences. The shows are adapted for different age groups, from toddlers to teenagers.
Workshops, installations, and activities
Beyond the shows, the festival offers participatory workshops, interactive installations (sound installations, miniature cinema, artistic hairdressing salons...), and free activities in the city. The « Samedis Fantastiks » offer special days with fun and artistic activities for families. The festival is aimed at both school groups and families.
