Le Pied sur la Dalle, the festival that transforms the village square

Le Pied sur la Dalle is a free, family-friendly summer festival held annually in late August in Tinténiac, a commune in Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany), on Place Jean Provost. Organized by the La Houpette association, the event transforms the town center into a large, convivial festive space for several days.

A program for the whole family

Each edition combines concerts, shows, DJ sets, karaoke, discovery workshops, olympiads, and quizzes. The organizers summarize the spirit of the festival as "a bit like a campsite's open-air café, but in the village square": deckchairs, a ball pit, ice cream, on-site catering, and entertainment punctuate these days open to all ages. Past editions have notably hosted companies and groups such as La Tête à l'Est, Car Casse Brothers, Pagaill, Double C, as well as the shows Schlada (Compagnie OCUS) and Vox Machina.

A community-based and accessible event

Access to the festival is free; only a few specific events may require a modest participation fee. Any ticketing is managed via the HelloAsso platform of the La Houpette association. The event, rooted in the local life of Tinténiac, contributes to the cultural dynamism of the Pays de Saint-Malo and Ille-et-Vilaine.
