Les Caminades

A gourmet walk through the vineyards of the Côte Vermeille

Les Caminades is a must-attend wine tourism event on the Côte Vermeille, organized by Vignerons-sur-mer Collioure - Banyuls. Every year in June, wine and hiking enthusiasts are invited to follow a trail through the terraced vineyards of the Côte Vermeille, with tasting stations along the route.

A unique concept between vineyard and sea

The concept is simple yet delicious: participants receive a tasting kit (hat, glass, cutlery, and brochure) and set off at their own pace on a marked trail through the vineyards. Seven tasting stations offer food and wine pairings created in collaboration with regional chefs, highlighting the AOP Banyuls and AOP Collioure appellations.

Departures are every half hour, with shuttle services between parking lots and the starting point. The route offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and the vineyard landscapes classified as World Heritage sites.

Editions in different villages

Each edition takes place in a different village of the Côte Vermeille. Previous editions have been held in Banyuls-sur-Mer, Collioure, and Cerbère, allowing participants to discover the diversity of the terroirs and landscapes of this exceptional Catalan coast.

A festive and convivial event

Beyond hiking and tasting, Les Caminades is a moment of conviviality and celebration. The day continues into the evening with musical entertainment on the seafront, making this event a complete celebration of the Catalan art of living.
