A film festival born in a small village in the Nièvre

Since its inception in 2002 by the Ni Vu ! Ni Connu ! association, the Les Conviviales festival has transformed the village of Nannay in the Nièvre into an open-air cinema every summer. In 2026, the event celebrated its 25th edition.

Around forty films, screened outdoors and in local homes

The festival features a selection of around forty films—documentaries, fiction, shorts, and feature films, in French or subtitled—presented in three formats: outdoors, in the village's screening rooms, or as video programs hosted by local residents. The first part of the festival takes place "outside the woods" in neighboring towns of the Pays Charitois, before the second part focuses on Nannay.

An artist-in-residence throughout the festival

Each edition hosts an artist-in-residence who designs and creates a work in collaboration with festival-goers throughout the duration of the event.

A festival designed for rural life

Supported by the Ni Vu ! Ni Connu ! association, with backing from the Nièvre Departmental Council and the DRAC Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, the festival utilizes a 63-seat municipal cinema equipped with a projection booth, a village hall, and the Nannay municipal library.
