Les Estivales — edition 2026
The Estivales d'Obernai 2026 will take place from July 4th to August 1st: five Saturday evenings of free open-air concerts on the Place du Marché. The 2026 program features Jonathan Dassin, Robin Léon, a tribute to Michael Jackson, Génération Boys Band, and a Lady Gaga show. Light refreshments and entertainment from 7 PM, concerts at dusk (around 9 PM).
2026 Edition — from July 4th to August 1st
For this edition, the Estivales d'Obernai offer five free concerts on Saturday evenings, from July 4th to August 1st, 2026, on the Place du Marché. As every year, the evening opens from 7 PM with light refreshments and entertainment, before the main concert at dusk, around 9 PM. Access is entirely free.
Organized by the Comité des Fêtes d'Obernai, the 2026 program is eclectic and popular: French variety, tributes, and tribute bands follow one another on the open-air stage, within the heritage setting of the Place du Marché and its Kappelturm belfry.

- 9:00 PM — Tribute to Michael Jackson · Place du Marché (free). Tribute show featuring the King of Pop's repertoire.

- 9:00 PM — Génération Boys Band · Place du Marché (free). With Frank Delay (2Be3) and Chris Keller (G-Squad), with Allan Théo as the opening act.
Saturday, August 1st, 2026
- 9:00 PM — Lady Gaga Show · Place du Marché (free). "The Romance of Lady Gaga" performed by Maria Grazia Valentino, surrounded by professional dancers and musicians.
Every Saturday: light refreshments and entertainment from 7 PM, main concert around 9 PM.

By Train
Obernai station, served by TER from Strasbourg (30 min). The Market Square is a 5-minute walk away.
By Car
Obernai is accessible via the A35 (Obernai exit). Paid parking in the town center and free parking at the sports complex (10 min walk).
Prices
The concerts at Les Estivales are completely free. Food and drink on site are at your own expense.
Food and Drink
Food stalls on the square from 7 PM: flammekueche, tarte flambée, craft beers, Alsatian wines. Restaurants and winstubs on the Market Square are also open.
Practical Tips
- Arrive early (around 7 PM) to enjoy the pre-concert atmosphere and find a good spot.
- Bring a cushion or blanket to sit on.

The Obernai Market Square in Concert
The Estivales d'Obernai were born in 2006 from the city's desire to liven up summer evenings in an exceptional heritage setting. Obernai's Market Square, one of the most beautiful squares in Alsace, offers a magical backdrop for these concerts: colorful half-timbered houses, a Renaissance Halle aux Blés (corn exchange), a fountain dedicated to Sainte Odile (patron saint of Alsace), and the majestic illuminated Kappelturm belfry create a fairytale setting.
Five Saturday Evenings Under the Stars
Each summer, Les Estivales offer five free concerts on Saturday evenings from early July to early August. The programming is eclectic and popular, mixing French variety music, rock, pop, chanson, and tribute bands. The 2025 edition (20th anniversary) opened with Gilbert Montagné and concluded with the U2 Project, featuring artists of various styles.
A Friendly and Accessible Concept
The concept of Les Estivales is simple and effective: starting at 7 PM, a food and drink area is set up on the square with musical entertainment provided by Beck's. Visitors enjoy local specialties on terraces before the main concert, which begins at nightfall, around 9 PM. Admission is completely free, making Les Estivales a truly popular and family-friendly event.
