Les Fanfarfelues
Les Fanfarfelues is a brass band and brass music festival held annually in Vitré, Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany). Presented as « the most brassy festival in the West », it takes over the unique setting of the medieval castle of Vitré, where three stages are set up.
A brassy and eclectic festival
Each edition brings together more than 150 artists with an international and eclectic program, ranging from funk to jazz, world music, rock, and hip-hop. Brass groups, brass bands, and brass band formations animate the town and the castle in a festive and friendly atmosphere.

The 12th edition of Les Fanfarfelues takes place from August 21st to 23rd, 2026 at the medieval castle of Vitré (35). Three days of brass bands and brass music on three stages, with an international and eclectic program.
Les Fanfarfelues — 2026 Edition
For its 12th edition, the Les Fanfarfelues festival takes over the medieval castle of Vitré from August 21st to 23rd, 2026. Three stages located within the castle grounds host an international and eclectic program, from funk to jazz, world music, and hip-hop, centered around brass instruments and brass bands.
The festival is free for accompanied children under 16. Tickets are available online (Weezevent) and at the Vitré tourist office.

The 2026 program is being progressively unveiled. Among the first names announced for this 12th edition (August 21st-23rd, 2026):

- Washington Dead Cats Big Band (band celebrating 40 years of career)
