About Mamers en scène

For its 9th edition, the festival brings together eight amateur and professional companies at the Mamers Municipal Theatre from September 17th to 20th, 2026. Gérard Levoyer is the patron of this year's event and will be meeting with the public on Saturday afternoon. Enjoy four days of performances, ranging from comedy to more serious works, all organized by a dedicated volunteer association since 2016.

Free admission with voluntary contributions (hat pass) or a weekend pass for 40 euros.

The Mamers en Scène: Rencontres théâtrales association has been organizing the festival since its inception in 2016. Comprised of volunteers, including both theatre professionals and enthusiasts, the group schedules four days of performances at the municipal theatre on Place Carnot. The festival is a staple of the town's cultural calendar, sitting between the Mamers en Mars film festival and the Le Son des Cuivres festival in July, and each year features a patron from the world of theatre.

Admission is by donation (pay-what-you-can), or via a weekend pass for 40 €. Tickets can be purchased through the association's website or the Maine Saosnois tourist office.
