Historical reenactment on the battlefield of 1415
On October 25, 1415, the fields of Azincourt were the scene of one of the most famous battles of the Hundred Years' War. Today, the Centre Azincourt 1415 perpetuates the memory of this historical event by organizing an immersive medieval festival every summer that transports visitors into the military and civilian life of the 15th century.
At the heart of the festival, a meticulously recreated medieval camp by living history enthusiasts offers a dive into the daily life of the Middle Ages:
The highlights of the festival are the combat shows and tournaments:
Falconers present their birds of prey—falcons, buzzards, owls—in free-flight demonstrations that fascinate young and old alike.
On Saturday evening, the festival concludes with a fire show combining pyrotechnics, dance, and illuminations. A grand finale that sets the Azincourt night ablaze in a magical and memorable atmosphere.
The Azincourt 1415 Centre is organizing its medieval festival on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11, 2027. Details of the shows and final schedules will be specified over the coming weeks on the Centre's official website and social media.
For two days, the site of the 1415 battle will host reenactors, knights, and artisans to bring to life the daily military life and crafts of the medieval era: encampment, equestrian tournaments, armored combat, artillery demonstrations, falconry, and a nocturnal fire show.
Saturday: 10 AM to 11 PM — Sunday: 10 AM to 6:30 PM.
Indicative program based on previous editions; 2026 details will be communicated by the organizer on azincourt1415.com and its social media channels.
