Historical reenactment on the battlefield of 1415
The Medieval Festival of Azincourt immerses visitors every summer in the heart of the 15th century, on the very site of the famous 1415 battle between the French and English armies. Organized by the Centre Azincourt 1415, this festival features a medieval camp with passionate reenactors, equestrian tournaments, armored combat, artillery and falconry demonstrations, ancient craft workshops, and a nocturnal pyrotechnic show. A total historical immersion for the whole family.
On October 25, 1415, the fields of Azincourt were the scene of one of the most famous battles of the Hundred Years' War. Today, the Centre Azincourt 1415 perpetuates the memory of this historical event by organizing an immersive medieval festival every summer that transports visitors into the military and civilian life of the 15th century.
At the heart of the festival, a meticulously recreated medieval camp by living history enthusiasts offers a dive into the daily life of the Middle Ages:
The highlights of the festival are the combat shows and tournaments:
Falconers present their birds of prey—falcons, buzzards, owls—in free-flight demonstrations that fascinate young and old alike.
On Saturday evening, the festival concludes with a fire show combining pyrotechnics, dance, and illuminations. A grand finale that sets the Azincourt night ablaze in a magical and memorable atmosphere.
The Medieval Festival of Azincourt returns in July 2026 for a new edition combining historical reenactment, tournaments, and shows on the site of the 1415 battle.
