The Metz May Fair is a popular event that makes the city vibrate every spring. Located at the Parc des Expositions on the Champ de Foire, this large-scale funfair brings together over 200 showmen on 60,000 m² of attractions, games, and food stalls for about three weeks.
Attractions for All Tastes
The May Fair offers a range of attractions to satisfy all desires:
- Classic Rides: panoramic Ferris wheel, bumper cars, carousels, trampolines, and inflatable structures
- Thrill Rides: roller coasters, articulated caterpillars, drop towers, and high-speed rotating rides
- Skill Games: duck fishing, rifle shooting, lotteries, cascades, and casino games

New Attractions Every Year
Each edition brings its share of new attractions. The 2025 edition introduced the Scare Factory, a ghost train with about ten wagons, and Route 66, an articulated caterpillar ride with a swinging motion. These new additions help renew the fair's appeal and retain visitors.

The fair is also an opportunity to indulge in funfair classics: cotton candy, churros, crepes, waffles, candy apples, and artisanal confectionery. Food stalls also offer full meals for a gourmet break between rides.
Entertainment and Special Days
The May Fair regularly offers discounted days, mascot parades for children, and inclusive afternoons dedicated to people with disabilities, organized in partnership with the City of Metz. These initiatives make the fair an accessible and unifying event.
