The Meuse du Rire Festival is a humor festival held at La Halle d'Étain, in the Meuse region. The first edition took place on November 8th and 9th, 2025, under the exceptional sponsorship of Michaël Gregorio, originally from Étain. The festival offers a weekend of comedian performances with one-man shows, stand-up, and sketches. Shows are available individually or as a three-show pass to fully enjoy the weekend of laughter.
The Meuse du Rire Festival was born in 2025 with the ambition to make Étain a must-visit destination for humor in the Grand Est region. Under the exceptional sponsorship of Michaël Gregorio, a famous impressionist and comedian who grew up in Étain, the festival offers a weekend of laughter and good cheer in the heart of the Meuse.
Michaël Gregorio spent his teenage years in Étain, giving a particularly personal dimension to his sponsorship of this festival. The artist, known for his stunning impersonations and sold-out shows, brings his fame and energy to this nascent event, helping to make it known far beyond the borders of the Meuse.

The festival takes place on a weekend in November (Saturday and Sunday).
By car: Étain is located about 25 km northeast of Verdun, on the D603. Free parking in the town center.
