The Des Jeux sous les Côtes festival is the annual meeting place for gamers and board game enthusiasts in the Meuse region. Created by the Côtes & Jeux association, based in Fresnes-en-Woëvre, this festival was born from the desire to promote modern board games and miniatures as vectors of social connection and conviviality.

A complete fun program

Lively game tables

The heart of the festival consists of dozens of game tables run by passionate volunteers. Classic and contemporary board games, strategy games, cooperative games, party games: there is something for all tastes and all levels. Facilitators explain the rules and guide novices through their first games.

Miniatures and role-playing games

A space dedicated to miniatures and role-playing games allows wargame and RPG enthusiasts to discover or practice these immersive universes. Miniature painting demonstrations are also offered.

Tournaments

Tournaments are organized on various games, allowing competitive players to measure themselves against each other in a sporting but fair-play atmosphere.

Shop and raffle

A game shop is present on site, allowing you to purchase the latest releases or board game classics. Raffles with fun prizes punctuate the weekend.

On-site catering

A snack bar allows players to refuel without leaving the tables, extending the games in a relaxed atmosphere.

Fresnes-en-Woëvre is a small commune in the Woëvre plain, at the foot of the Côtes de Meuse, between Verdun and Metz. This rural area, marked by the history of the Great War, finds in this fun festival an opportunity to bring residents together and attract visitors from all over the region.
