Punk, rock and experimental festival in the heart of the Ardèche mountains
Mézilhac Attacks ! is a punk, rock, and experimental music festival organized every summer by the Le Moulin'Art association in the village of Mézilhac, in the heart of the Ardèche Mountains. This year, the festival takes place at L'Areilladou, the village's former ski resort.
Over two days, the festival features outdoor stage concerts blending headliners from the French punk scene with emerging artists. Handmade carnival games, exhibitions, and artisan stalls round out the musical lineup in a friendly, alternative atmosphere.
Mézilhac Attacks ! is a punk, rock, and experimental music festival held in the village of Mézilhac. This year, the festival has moved to the village's former ski resort, perched at an altitude of over 1,100 meters on the Ardèche plateau. Organized by the Le Moulin'Art association, this musical gathering brings together a passionate crowd for two days of intense concerts, set in an exceptional natural landscape between volcanoes and mountain forests.
Since its inception, Mézilhac Attacks ! has hosted renowned artists from the French and international punk and rock scenes. In 2024, the festival featured Les Ramoneurs de Menhirs, a staple of Breton Celtic punk, as well as more experimental projects like Astrüd Gastryk (vocal cuisine) and Amadokia. In 2026, the program spans rock, punk, dub, drum and bass, and noise with bands such as IT IT ANITA, Rotofil Khonäar, Radio Bysance, Disco Boule, and Fer/Vent.
Mézilhac Attacks ! is more than just concerts. The festival also offers handmade carnival games, exhibitions, artisan stalls, and a chill-out area, creating a festive and welcoming vibe that extends the musical experience. On-site catering highlights local products from the Ardèche Mountains.
The Le Moulin'Art association, which has run the festival since 2019, works to develop, support, and promote local cultural diversity in the Antraigues-Asperjoc valley in Ardèche. Mézilhac Attacks ! is part of this effort to revitalize the rural Ardèche region, proving that contemporary music can thrive even in the most remote villages of the Ardèche Mountains.
