A punk and rock festival at the top of Ardèche

Mézilhac Attacks ! is a festival of punk, rock and experimental music held every summer in the village of Mézilhac, perched at over 1,100 meters above sea level on the Ardèche plateau. Organized by the association Le Moulin'Art, this musical event brings together passionate audiences for two days of intense concerts in an exceptional natural setting between volcanoes and mountain forests.

Two stages, two atmospheres

The programming of Mézilhac Attacks ! unfolds across two complementary spaces: the main outdoor stage, set up in the village square, hosts the festival's most energetic concerts, while the village church offers a unique acoustic setting for more intimate and experimental performances. This contrast between the power of the outdoor concerts and the singular resonance of the religious building is one of the festival's signatures.

A demanding and eclectic program

Since its creation, Mézilhac Attacks ! has hosted renowned artists from the French and international punk and rock scene. In 2024, the festival notably featured Les Ramoneurs de Menhirs, a reference in Breton Celtic punk, Groumpf, Edredon Sensible, as well as more experimental projects like Astrüd Gastryk (vocal cuisine) and Amadokia. The festival thus mixes punk, garage rock, noise, experimental music, and unique artistic performances.

Beyond the music

Mézilhac Attacks ! is not limited to concerts. The festival also offers artisanal fairground games, exhibitions, craft stalls, and a relaxation area, creating a festive and friendly atmosphere that extends the musical experience. On-site catering highlights local products from the Ardèche mountains.

Le Moulin'Art, cultural engine of the valley

The association Le Moulin'Art, which has been organizing the festival since 2019, works to develop, support, and promote local cultural diversity in the Antraigues-Asperjoc valley in Ardèche. Mézilhac Attacks ! is part of this approach to revitalizing the cultural scene in the rural Ardèche region, proving that contemporary music can find its place even in the most remote villages of the Montagne ardéchoise.
