Every year in December, the city of Montreuil celebrates Christmas with a craft market that stands out for its creative and local character. Located Place Jean-Jaurès and Rue des Lumières, right in the heart of the town, the market brings together about forty exhibitors carefully selected for the quality and originality of their creations.

This collective guarantees the authenticity of the products offered: each exhibitor is a true creator who makes their own items. You can find precious metal jewelry, original Christmas decorations, handmade natural cosmetics, clothing and fashion accessories made from recycled materials, unique ceramics and pottery, and many other creations that make this market a true space for artistic discovery.

Gourmet Stalls and a Festive Atmosphere

Alongside the artisan exhibitors, gourmet stalls offer seasonal specialties to warm visitors and delight their taste buds: spiced mulled wine, crêpes and waffles, artisanal chocolates, confectionery, and local products. Festivities Lasting Until January

The craft market itself runs for six consecutive days in December, but the Christmas festivities in Montreuil extend well beyond that. From December 8, 2025, to January 4, 2026, the city offers a full program of events: illuminations in the shopping streets, free rides for children in the town center squares, meet-and-greets with Santa Claus, shows, and surprises for families. The launch of the festivities is traditionally marked by a luminous inauguration on Place des Ruffins, with the symbolic lighting of the city's illuminations.
