The Fête de la Musique in Montigny-lès-Cormeilles
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Montigny-lès-Cormeilles into an open-air stage every June 21. With the arrival of summer, music freely takes over public spaces, from early evening until late, in all genres and for all audiences.
Two open-air stages in the city
Usually, the festival unfolds in two emblematic locations in the city center: Place de la Libération and Parvis Picasso, adjacent to the cultural center. The municipal music, theater, and dance school is very present there, alongside local talents and guest groups, in an eclectic program mixing contemporary music, world music, folk, rock, and pop.
