The Fête de la Musique in Annonay
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Annonay into an open-air stage every June 21. In this sub-prefecture of Ardèche, music freely takes over public spaces: amateur musicians, conservatory students, local groups, and established artists play in the central squares, in parks, and on terraces, from early evening until the heart of the night.
A festival spread throughout the city center
For the 2026 edition, the festival unfolds at numerous points in the old center and its surroundings: Place des Cordeliers, Place de la Liberté, Place du 18 Juin, Parc Simone de Beauvoir, the skatepark, Passage Saint-François, and the bottom of Rue de Deûme host open-air stages, while the conservatory, the Amis de l'Orgue, and several central bars (Le Bar Bar, Le Rive Gauche, Frangin Frangine) complete the lineup.
