As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Bussy-Saint-Georges into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from the afternoon until nightfall, in all genres and for all audiences.
From the conservatory to Vitlina Square
In the afternoon, students from the Marne et Gondoire Intercommunal Conservatory set the tone with performances spread throughout the city, from Clos-Saint-Georges to the vicinity of the music school and the train station esplanade. From late afternoon, the celebration concentrates at Vitlina Square, where local amateur musicians perform successively, followed by the evening's main concert and a DJ set that extends the party.
The highlight of the 2026 edition is the concert by Eltonology, a group paying tribute to the legendary British singer and pianist Elton John, performing his greatest hits. The evening concludes with a dancing DJ set.
