The Fête de la Musique in Cambrai
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city center of Cambrai into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces: concerts in squares, in front of monuments, on cafe and restaurant terraces, in all genres and for all audiences.
A celebration in the heart of the city
Usually, several stages are set up in the streets and squares of Cambrai's city center, where local bands and artists of various styles—classical music, jazz, rock, pop, and world music—perform successively. The bandstand and lively squares extend the celebration, while bars and restaurants participate by organizing concerts on their terraces or indoors.
