The Fête dans la Rue: thirty years of street arts in Corbie
Since 1995, the Fête dans la Rue has been Corbie's major summer event. Every year, on a Saturday in late June, the town center is transformed to host one of the most important street festivals in the Somme. The event, supported by the municipality and the town's cultural department, has grown over the years to become a regional benchmark for street arts.
An eclectic and generous program
The Fête dans la Rue offers a high-quality program, mixing local companies and international artists. From 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, the streets, squares, and parks of Corbie come alive with various performances: street theater, circus, acrobatics, giant puppets, walking bands, dance, magic, and performances of all kinds. Parades and processions punctuate the afternoon and evening, creating a joyful and surprising atmosphere.
Much more than a performance festival
Beyond the artistic performances, the Fête dans la Rue is a true festive village. A medieval area recreates the atmosphere of yesteryear with artisans, knights, and period entertainment. The children's village offers creative workshops, games, and activities for the youngest. The artisanal and sustainable development market showcases local know-how and eco-responsible initiatives. An entirely free international street arts festival, it unfolds its program across six stages and numerous areas: street theater and shows, wandering brass bands, attractions and installations, an urban culture and sports area, a craft market, games and entertainment for all ages, and a grand final show. Among the invited companies: Monsieur Bû, Compagnie Bécots Les Cœurs, Compagnie 3 Pièces-Cuisine, Compagnie Picaresk, Compagnie Titanos and Compagnie L'Homme Debout. As every year, the Fête dans la Rue expects between 20,000 and 25,000 spectators for a festive, popular, and accessible day for everyone.

The Fête dans la Rue returns for its 32nd edition on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 4:00 PM to midnight, in Corbie city center. Organized by the cultural department of the City of Corbie, this international street arts festival offers a free and eclectic program mixing local and international companies, spread across six stages and multiple entertainment areas between Place de la République and the surrounding streets and parks.
A Program Across Six Stages
The 2026 edition brings together street theater and shows, music and wandering brass bands, magical attractions and installations, an urban culture and sports area, a craft market, family games and entertainment, and a spectacular final show. This edition's headliners include Monsieur Bû with his show Le Valpiniste, Compagnie Bécots Les Cœurs (La Criée aux Oiseaux), Compagnie 3 Pièces-Cuisine (Les Sœurs K), Compagnie Picaresk (L'Affaire LaFleur 1649) and Compagnie L'Homme Debout with the giant puppet AKA.
A Great Popular and Free Event

Practical Information
Access
By car: Corbie is located 17 km east of Amiens, accessible via the A1 motorway (exit 13 Villers-Bretonneux) then the D1. Free parking is available on the outskirts of the town center.
By train: Corbie station is served by TER trains from Amiens (15 minutes). The town center is a 5-minute walk from the station.
Schedules
The festival runs from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Performances take over the streets from opening and continue until the end of the evening.
Prices
Admission is completely free for all activities and performances.
Food and Drink
Food stalls are set up in the town center, offering local specialties and various cuisines. Drink stands are located throughout the festive route.
Accessibility
