The Fête dans la Rue: thirty years of street arts in Corbie

Since 1995, the Fête dans la Rue has been Corbie's major summer event. Every year, on a Saturday in late June, the town center is transformed to host one of the most important street festivals in the Somme. The event, supported by the municipality and the town's cultural department, has grown over the years to become a regional benchmark for street arts.

An eclectic and generous program

The Fête dans la Rue offers a high-quality program, mixing local companies and international artists. From 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, the streets, squares, and parks of Corbie come alive with various performances: street theater, circus, acrobatics, giant puppets, walking bands, dance, magic, and performances of all kinds. Parades and processions punctuate the afternoon and evening, creating a joyful and surprising atmosphere.

Much more than a performance festival

Beyond the artistic performances, the Fête dans la Rue is a true festive village. A medieval area recreates the atmosphere of yesteryear with artisans, knights, and period entertainment.
